Our expertise includes for the provision of a complete PRE-CONSTRUCTION SERVICE i.e. Site investigation and Chemical Analysis, Excavation, Transport and disposal of contaminated earth. Remedial works including the importation of clean backfill, compacted to the clients specification. Grafters has the experience to deal with the difficult situations that can arise from these types of contracts, such as buried drums, tanks etc. Liquids, sludges and 'Hot Spots' of severe contamination.
Details of some completed projects are as follows:
- Land Reclamation at Atherton, Wigan; a large pond was drained, excavated, backfilled and turned into a car park for J.Sainsbury Ltd.
- Decontamination, demolition and disposal of a fire damaged chemical factory for Fine Organics, Peterlee, Co. Durham.
- Land Reclamation at Sandycroft, Deeside. Removal of contaminated earth from the site of the Graessers Factory, including disposal of PCB's
- Land Reclamation for British Gas, Wrexham. Removal and disposal of contaminated earth.
- Reclamation of old toxic dump for Royal Ordanance, Crewe, including backfill and all remedial works.
